Systeme.io pricing in 2026 comes down to four plans: Free at $0 (2,000 contacts, no card, no expiry), Startup at $17/month, Webinar at $47/month and Unlimited at $97/month. Annual billing gives you 2 months free, which is $170, $470 or $970 a year by our maths, and every plan charges 0% transaction fees. Paid plans are not refundable, so stay on Free under 2,000 contacts and upgrade only when a cap actually blocks you. Checked 14 October 2026 on Systeme.io’s pricing page.

Systeme.io pricing at a glance (2026)
Systeme.io sells four plans “based primarily on contact limits”, plus a custom “For teams” tier with no published price. Contacts are the headline limit, but each plan also caps tags, automation rules and courses, and you can hit one of those well before your contact limit.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, per year* | Contacts | Funnels | Courses | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 2,000 | 3 | 1 | Never expires, no card |
| Startup | $17 | $170 | 5,000 | 10 | 5 | Unlimited students, 3 custom domains |
| Webinar | $47 | $470 | 10,000 | 50 | 20 | 10 evergreen webinars |
| Unlimited | $97 | $970 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited funnels and contacts; free migration on monthly billing |
| For teams | Book a call | Not published | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | A dedicated success manager |
Annual totals are our maths (10 × the monthly price). The main pricing page shows a monthly/annual toggle with a “2 months free” badge but no yearly totals. Systeme.io’s annual offer pages give the per-month figures: $14.17, $39.17 and $80.9.
Some things don’t change with the plan. Every tier, Free included, gets unlimited emails, unlimited file storage, unlimited sub-accounts, unlimited assistant accounts, unlimited blog posts, unlimited bookings, unlimited physical products and 0% transaction fees. You don’t pay more to send more email, and you don’t pay per seat.
Why other Systeme.io pricing pages disagree
If you’ve seen different numbers elsewhere, you’re not imagining it. Every pricing page we checked on 14 October 2026 got at least one basic number wrong or left it out. The usual errors, against the live page:
"Startup costs $27/month"
Startup is $17/month. $27 is an old price.
"Pay annually and save 30%"
Annual is 2 months free, about 17% off.
"Paid plans have a 14-day free trial"
There is no paid-plan trial. The Free plan is the trial.
"Free: 1 funnel, 10 steps, 2,000 emails"
Free: 3 funnels, 15 steps, 2,000 contacts and unlimited emails.
"Startup includes unlimited funnels"
Startup has 10 funnels. Only the Unlimited plan has unlimited funnels.
The 30% one has a real source, to be fair. Systeme.io’s own annual offer pages carry a “Save 30%” banner, but the numbers on the same pages ($14.17 a month instead of $17) come to about 16.7%. Go by the numbers, not the banner.

What does each Systeme.io plan include, and when must you upgrade?
Systeme.io pricing is tiered by contacts on paper. In practice, Free allows one tag and one automation rule, so a second lead magnet can force an upgrade long before contact 2,001. Below is what each tier gets and the cap that pushes you to the next one.
Free ($0)
The Free plan gives you 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels and 15 funnel steps, 1 course, 1 website, 1 blog, 1 community, 1 custom domain, 2 languages per website and unlimited emails. That’s enough to run an affiliate funnel on the free plan or sell one small product.
The caps that bite first sit further down the pricing table:
- 1 tag, 1 automation rule, 1 workflow, 1 email campaign. One lead magnet with one follow-up sequence fits. A second opt-in that needs its own tag doesn’t.
- 500 students. The pricing table and FAQ both say 500 on Free. The “All plans include” strip on the same page still says “Unlimited students”, so the page contradicts itself. Plan on 500.
- 1 one-click upsell, 1 order bump, 1 coupon code. One offer, one bump, one discount.
- $10,000 in lifetime sales. Systeme.io’s help centre says Free accounts have a lifetime sales revenue limit of $10,000. You get a warning banner at $8,000, and at $10,000 your payment pages stop accepting new sales. Affiliate commissions you earn don’t count toward it.
Startup ($17/month)
Startup lifts you to 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels and 50 funnel steps, 10 tags, 10 automation rules, 10 email campaigns, 5 workflows, 5 courses with unlimited students, 3 custom domains, 5 websites and 5 blogs. Upsells, order bumps and coupon codes go to 10 each, and the $10,000 lifetime sales cap is gone.
The gap is evergreen webinars: Startup has zero. If your plan is to sell from an automated webinar, Startup is the wrong plan at any list size.
Webinar ($47/month)
Webinar adds 10 evergreen webinars and raises everything else: 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels and 300 funnel steps, 100 tags, 100 automation rules, 100 email campaigns, 20 workflows, 20 courses, 10 custom domains and 50 A/B tests. Systeme.io’s own FAQ puts it this way: 5,000 to 10,000 contacts means Webinar at $47.
Unlimited ($97/month)
Unlimited removes the caps. The only number left in the table is CRM pipelines, capped at 100. It’s also the only monthly plan that comes with a free migration (more on that below).
Above Unlimited sits “For teams”: everything in Unlimited plus a dedicated success manager. There’s no public price; you book a call.
The exact limit that forces each upgrade
| Move | You must upgrade at any one of these |
|---|---|
| Free → Startup | Contact 2,001 · a 2nd tag, automation rule or email campaign · a 4th funnel or 16th step · a 2nd course · student 501 · a 2nd custom domain · a 2nd upsell, order bump or coupon · $10,000 in lifetime sales |
| Startup → Webinar | Contact 5,001 · any evergreen webinar · an 11th funnel or 51st step · an 11th tag, rule or campaign · a 6th course · a 4th custom domain |
| Webinar → Unlimited | Contact 10,001 · a 51st funnel · a 101st tag, rule or campaign · a 21st course · an 11th evergreen webinar · an 11th custom domain |
How much does Systeme.io really cost at your list size?
Assuming contacts are the only cap you hit, here’s what Systeme.io costs over a year. Systeme.io’s FAQ gives the same plan-by-list-size advice: under 2,000 contacts, use Free; 2,000 to 5,000, Startup; 5,000 to 10,000, Webinar; over 10,000, Unlimited.
| Contacts | Plan | Monthly billing, per year | Annual billing, per year | Per month on annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 500 | Free | $0 | $0 | $0 |
| 2,000 | Free | $0 | $0 | $0 |
| 5,000 | Startup | $204 | $170 | $14.17 |
| 10,000 | Webinar | $564 | $470 | $39.17 |
| 10,001+ | Unlimited | $1,164 | $970 | ≈ $80.83 |
Our maths from the monthly prices and the “2 months free” annual offer. Systeme.io’s page rounds the Unlimited figure to $80.9.
The jump that matters is the first one. Your 2,001st contact moves you from $0 to $17 a month. After that, each tier costs two to three times the one before: $17, then $47, then $97.
What you pay per sale: 0% to Systeme.io
Systeme.io takes 0% of your sales on every plan, Free included. You still pay your payment processor. Stripe’s standard US pricing is 2.9% + 30¢ per successful domestic card charge, plus 1.5% for international cards and 1% more if currency conversion is needed. So on a $100 sale Stripe keeps $3.20 and Systeme.io keeps nothing.
A worked example
Say you sell a $47 course and have 4,000 contacts. You’re past Free’s 2,000, so you need Startup: $204 a year on monthly billing or $170 on annual. Stripe takes about $1.66 per sale. Your first sale more than pays for a month of Startup.
If you’d tried to stay on Free with that course, the lifetime cap would stop you at about 212 sales ($10,000 ÷ $47), with the warning banner around sale 171.

Monthly or annual billing: which should you pick?
Annual billing on Systeme.io is “2 months free”: you pay for 10 months and get 12. That saves $34 a year on Startup, $94 on Webinar and $194 on Unlimited. Systeme.io’s own offer pages state the first two exactly: “Save $34/year” and “Save $94/year”.
The catch is that paid plans are non-refundable. An annual plan costs the same as 10 monthly payments, so it only pays off if you’d still be on that plan in month 10. Leave after month 6 and you’ve paid 4 months more than monthly billing would have cost, with no way to get it back.
Our rule: pay monthly for the first month or two. Once you know you’re staying, switch to annual.
Annual billing also buys you a free migration
Systeme.io does free migrations only for “the Unlimited monthly plan or any annual plan”. So Startup annual at $170 is the cheapest way to get one, against $97 a month for Unlimited monthly.
Migrations are done by hand and take 17 days on average. They cover contacts, funnel pages, blogs, courses, emails and campaigns, and automations, but only within your plan’s limits. A Startup migration still stops at 5,000 contacts and 10 funnels. Imported contacts also go through a consent and compliance check.
Who this is not for: if you’re starting from zero, there’s nothing to migrate, and annual on day one is a bet on a tool you haven’t used yet.
Is the Systeme.io free plan really free?
Yes. Systeme.io’s Free plan costs $0, needs no credit card and never expires. Systeme.io’s pricing FAQ says exactly that: “The free plan never expires and does not require a credit card.”
It’s not a trial in disguise either. Systeme.io’s terms say that when a Free account hits the $10,000 sales cap, you get 3 days to upgrade, and the account “will not be automatically upgraded or charged”. With no card on file, there’s nothing to charge. Sales in other currencies are converted to USD to count toward the cap.
The real costs of Free are the caps: 1 tag, 1 automation rule, 1 email campaign, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students and $10,000 in lifetime sales. None of them costs money, but each one limits what you can build.
There’s no free trial of the paid plans, whatever some pricing guides claim. That makes Free the trial. Build your funnel there, find out which cap you hit first, and you’ll know which paid plan you need.

Refunds, auto-upgrades and the fine print that changes your bill
Systeme.io prices are simple. The billing rules around them are less obvious, and they can change what you pay. Everything below comes from Systeme.io’s terms and conditions, its help centre and its pricing FAQ, checked 14 October 2026.
No refunds
Article 3 of the terms: “Please note that our subscription plans are not refundable.” There’s no 30-day money-back guarantee and no refund window. Anything you pay for, monthly or annual, is spent.
Go over a limit and you have 3 days
If a paid account goes over a plan limit, here’s what happens:
Three warnings
One warning email per day, plus an alert in your dashboard.
Restrictions start
Opt-ins and payments stop working, scheduled newsletters aren't sent and email campaigns pause.
Automatic upgrade
Your subscription moves up to the next tier, billed at the new price for the rest of your subscription period.
Going back down
Remove the excess, then contact support to switch back.
That auto-upgrade is billed for “the remainder of the subscription period”. On an annual Startup plan, going over in month 3 could mean paying Webinar prices for the remaining 9 months. Clean your list before you cross a limit, not after.
Upgrading, downgrading and cancelling
- Upgrading by card: the time left on your current plan is converted to a free trial during the upgrade, and the full new price is charged when that ends. Access to the higher plan starts only after the payment goes through.
- Upgrading by PayPal: PayPal doesn’t support prorated payments, so you’re charged the full price of the new plan, and you have to contact support to make sure the old subscription is cancelled.
- Downgrading: contact support and say which plan you want. They send a custom order form. If you’re over the lower plan’s limits, the account may be auto-upgraded or restricted again.
- Cancelling: you keep your plan until the next billing date, then the account goes back to Free.
- Price changes: Systeme.io can change prices at any time, but the price on your order is the one that applies to it.
Which Systeme.io plan should you buy?
Start on Systeme.io’s Free plan. Move to Startup at $17 when the first cap blocks you, and only go higher for evergreen webinars or more than 5,000 contacts. No listed tier costs more than $97 a month. What you won’t get on any plan is a refund window.
- Pick Free if you have fewer than 2,000 contacts, one lead magnet and no webinar. Systeme.io’s own FAQ says Free “covers most needs” under 2,000 contacts.
- Pick Startup ($17) the moment you need a second tag or automation rule, a second course, more than 500 students, or contact 2,001. At $17 it’s the cheapest fix for every one of those.
- Pick Webinar ($47) only if you need evergreen webinars or more than 5,000 contacts. Don’t pay $30 more a month for headroom you aren’t using.
- Pick Unlimited ($97) past 10,000 contacts or 50 funnels, or if you want a free migration without committing to a year.
Skip Systeme.io entirely if you won’t buy anything without a refund window. Its paid plans are non-refundable, full stop.
Systeme.io or ClickFunnels at $97?
At $97 a month the two meet head on. Systeme.io Unlimited gives you unlimited contacts. ClickFunnels Launch, also $97 a month ($81 a month billed annually), comes with 10,000 contacts. ClickFunnels has the safety net Systeme.io doesn’t: a 14-day free trial plus a 30-day money-back guarantee. That’s how the ClickFunnels trial and refund window work.
Below $97 there’s no contest on price: Systeme.io is $0, $17 or $47, and ClickFunnels’ plans start at $97. If you want to compare further, see every ClickFunnels plan and price or ClickFunnels vs Systeme.io, plan by plan.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Systeme.io cost per month?
Free is $0, Startup is $17, Webinar is $47 and Unlimited is $97 a month. On annual billing you get 2 months free, which works out to $14.17, $39.17 and about $80.83 a month. A "For teams" tier exists, but its price isn't published.
Is the Systeme.io free plan really free forever?
Yes. It never expires and needs no credit card. The catch is the caps: 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 tag, 1 automation rule, 1 course, 500 students and $10,000 in lifetime sales. Hitting the sales cap never triggers a charge. You get 3 days to upgrade, and if you don't, payments stop.
Does Systeme.io have a free trial of its paid plans?
No. There's no paid-plan trial, whatever some pricing guides say. The Free plan is the trial: build on it, see which limit you hit, then buy the plan that removes it.
How much do you save by paying annually?
Two months: $34 a year on Startup, $94 on Webinar and $194 on Unlimited. That's about 17%, not the 30% some banners claim. Because plans are non-refundable, annual only pays off if you'd stay at least 10 months.
Does Systeme.io offer refunds?
No. Article 3 of the terms says subscription plans are not refundable. That applies to monthly and annual plans. If you need a refund window, test on Free first, or look at a tool that offers a money-back guarantee.
Does Systeme.io charge transaction fees?
No. It's 0% on every plan, Free included. You only pay your payment processor. On Stripe's standard US pricing (2.9% + 30¢), a $100 sale costs $3.20 in Stripe fees and nothing to Systeme.io.
What happens if I go over my plan's contact limit?
You get three warning emails, one a day. On day 4, opt-ins and payments stop, scheduled newsletters aren't sent and campaigns pause. On a paid plan, the subscription is then automatically moved up a tier and billed at the new price for the rest of the period.
How many funnels do you get on the Startup plan?
10 funnels and 50 funnel steps, plus 5,000 contacts, 10 automation rules and 3 custom domains. Unlimited funnels only come with the $97 Unlimited plan. Pages claiming Startup has unlimited funnels are out of date.
Can I downgrade or cancel my Systeme.io plan?
Yes. To downgrade, contact support and name the plan you want; they send a custom order form. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the next billing date and the account then reverts to Free, so your account isn't deleted.
Is Systeme.io cheaper than ClickFunnels?
Below $97 a month, yes: Systeme.io runs $0, $17 and $47, and ClickFunnels starts at $97 ($81 billed annually). At $97 the price is the same, but ClickFunnels Launch has 10,000 contacts and Systeme.io Unlimited has no contact cap. ClickFunnels does offer a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee, which Systeme.io doesn't.
The bottom line
Systeme.io pricing is simpler than most pricing pages make it look:
- $0 until 2,000 contacts, with no card and no expiry. Start here.
- $17, $47 or $97 a month after that, decided by whichever cap you hit first, and often that’s tags or rules, not contacts.
- Annual = 2 months free ($170, $470, $970 a year), but only once you’re sure, because nothing is refundable.
- 0% transaction fees on every plan. Your processor’s cut is the only one.
