ClickFunnels Launch vs Scale (2026): Which Plan Do You Need?

FunnelTier editorial · 15 min read · Updated October 16, 2026
Editorial ink illustration of two old hotel room keys on a reception desk, a single key on a brass fob stamped LAUNCH $97 and a ring of five keys on a fob stamped SCALE $197 with a blue paper tag reading 3 MONTHS $99.

ClickFunnels Launch vs Scale is a $100-a-month decision: Launch costs $97/mo ($970/yr) and Scale costs $197/mo ($1,970/yr). For that extra $100, Scale gives you 75,000 contacts instead of 10,000, 300,000 emails a month instead of 50,000, 5 workspaces instead of 1, 5 team members instead of 2, 6 courses instead of 3 and unlimited custom domains instead of 5, plus webhooks, full API access and the custom code editor. Pick Launch unless you will hit one of those limits in your first year; if you will, new customers can get 3 months of Scale for $99, which then renews at $197/mo. Prices and limits checked 14 October 2026 against ClickFunnels’ pricing page, help centre and $99 offer page.

ClickFunnels Launch vs Scale at a glance

ClickFunnels gives both plans the same builder. The differences are volume, seats and a handful of developer features. Most comparison pages stop at contacts and the API, so here is every row that differs between the two plans on the pricing page and in the help-centre plan list.

*Funnels are unlimited on both plans but tagged “Limited Time” on the pricing page, so that row could change. Last verified: 14 October 2026.

In practice, five rows settle the ClickFunnels Launch vs Scale question: contacts, emails per month, team members, workspaces and webhooks/API. The rest are extras you would enjoy on Scale but would not upgrade for on their own.

Side-by-side comparison titled 'Scale has 7.5× Launch's contacts for $100 more': Launch at $97 a month versus Scale at $197 a month. Contacts 10K vs 75K, emails a month 50K vs 300K, team members 2 vs 5, workspaces 1 vs 5, webhooks and API no vs yes.
For $100 more a month, Scale raises contacts from 10,000 to 75,000, emails from 50,000 to 300,000 a month, team members from 2 to 5 and workspaces from 1 to 5, and adds webhooks and API access.

The help centre badges Scale as “Most popular”. That badge tells you what other buyers picked. The sections below help you work out what you need. Two bigger plans exist, Optimize at $297/mo and Dominate at $5,997/yr (annual billing only). They sit outside this decision, so see every ClickFunnels plan and price if you want the full ladder.

What both plans share, and what neither includes

Unlimited funnels Unlimited visitors Unlimited pages Group onboarding calls 14-day free trial 30-day money-back guarantee No cut of your sales

Private onboarding calls start at Optimize, so on either plan you get the group calls. Neither plan takes a share of what you sell either. The pricing FAQ answers that question with “No. You’ll keep every penny you make.”

Neither plan includes the Affiliate Center. If you want to run your own affiliate programme inside ClickFunnels, the help centre puts that on Optimize and Dominate, and moving from Launch to Scale will not get it for you.

! Email automation is unresolved. Some reviews say Launch has no email automation and Scale adds it. ClickFunnels' own help-centre plan list doesn't mention workflows on any plan, so check the Automations row on the pricing page, or build a test workflow during the free trial, before you rely on it.

What does Scale add for the extra $100 a month?

Scale costs 2.03 times as much as Launch: $100 more a month, or $1,000 more a year on annual billing. The ClickFunnels Scale plan spends that money in four places. Any of the first three can force the upgrade by itself; the fourth is nice to have.

More contacts and email, at a lower cost per contact

Scale holds 75,000 contacts to Launch’s 10,000, which is 7.5 times as many, and sends 300,000 emails a month to Launch’s 50,000, which is 6 times as many. Per contact, Scale is far cheaper once the list is full. On monthly billing, Launch works out to $9.70 per 1,000 contacts and Scale to $2.63. One review aggregator quotes $8.10 and $2.19; the list prices support neither figure.

The catch is send volume. A full Launch list gets 5 emails per contact per month. A full Scale list gets 4. So Scale is tighter per contact, and a weekly newsletter to a full 75,000-contact list uses the whole monthly allowance, leaving nothing for a launch sequence.

i The caps are published. What happens at them is not. ClickFunnels doesn't say whether sends are blocked, billed extra or moved up a plan when you reach 10,000 contacts or 50,000 emails on Launch. If you plan a big launch near either cap, ask support first.

Webhooks, full API access and the custom code editor

This is the upgrade trigger that has nothing to do with list size. Webhooks and full API access appear on Scale and not on Launch, both in the help-centre plan list and on the pricing page. The custom code editor follows the same split.

So if a funnel has to push each new lead or order into another tool, such as an outside CRM, a fulfilment service or a spreadsheet automation, Launch cannot send it by webhook. A business with 300 contacts that needs one webhook needs Scale. A business with 9,000 contacts that never connects anything does not.

Seats, workspaces, stores and domains

Scale moves team members from 2 to 5, brand workspaces from 1 to 5, stores from 1 to 5, custom domains from 5 to unlimited and Message Hub agents from 2 to 5.

Two seats on Launch means you plus one person. That works for a founder and a VA. It stops working when a copywriter, an ads person and a VA all need their own login. One workspace means one brand. If you sell a fitness course and also run a separate coaching brand, or you build a funnel or two for a client, you need a second workspace, and that alone puts you on Scale.

The smaller extras

The rest of the list:

  • Courses and communities: 3 each on Launch, 6 each on Scale.
  • Support: Standard on Launch, Priority & Live Chat on Scale.
  • Training library: Knowledgebase on Launch, FunnelFlix on Scale.
  • AI coaching: text on Launch, text and voice on Scale.
  • AI tools: 1,000,000 words on Launch, 2,000,000 on Scale. Here is what the AI word allowance actually covers.
  • Conversion Boosters and Countdown Funnels: Scale only. ClickFunnels doesn’t publish a description of either, so we won’t guess at what they do.

Apart from the 4th course, none of these is worth $100 a month by itself. Treat them as what you get once a bigger reason has already put you on Scale.

Who should pick the Launch plan?

ClickFunnels Launch is the right plan if all of this describes your next 12 months:

  • You are a solo seller or a two-person business.
  • You run one brand from one workspace and one store.
  • Your list will stay under 10,000 contacts.
  • No funnel needs to send data out by webhook or API.
  • You will sell 3 courses or fewer.

That describes most first funnels, built by one person for one offer. Launch still gets unlimited funnels, pages and visitors, so you are not capped on what you build, only on how many people you email and who logs in.

The cheapest honest way in is the 14-day free trial on Launch. Build the funnel, send traffic, and switch to annual billing once it takes orders. Annual is $970 a year, which saves $194, because you pay 10 months’ price for 12 (about 17% off). Don’t pay annual before the funnel works. Until then, monthly billing is your exit.

Launch is not for you if you need a webhook on day one, manage clients, or already have more than 10,000 contacts to import. If agency work and API access are the real reason you are shopping, read ClickFunnels vs GoHighLevel before you pick either plan. And if $97 a month is already a stretch, look at cheaper alternatives if $97 is a stretch rather than squeezing into a plan you will resent.

Who actually needs Scale in year one?

Run your next 12 months through five questions. Any single yes means ClickFunnels Scale. Five noes mean Launch.

  1. Will your list pass 10,000 contacts? From zero, that is about 830 new contacts a month. Less if you are importing an existing list.
  2. Does a funnel need webhooks, the API or custom code? This one applies whatever your list size.
  3. Does a third person need a login? Launch has 2 team seats.
  4. Will you run a second brand, workspace or store? Launch has 1 of each.
  5. Will you sell a 4th course or run a 4th community? Launch stops at 3.

Most first-year buyers weighing ClickFunnels Launch vs Scale answer no to all five. That is not a knock on Scale. A first funnel rarely needs five seats or 75,000 contacts.

Checklist titled 'Any one yes means you need Scale' with five numbered rows: list passing 10,000 contacts, webhooks, API or custom code (highlighted in blue), a third person needs a login, a second brand or store, and a fourth course. Below the title: five noes means Launch at $97 a month is enough.
If your next 12 months include a list over 10,000, webhooks or API work, a third login, a second brand or store, or a fourth course, you need Scale; otherwise Launch fits.

If you answered yes, don’t pay $197 a month for the first three months. New customers can get those three months for $99, and when the yes is close to certain (an existing list over 10,000, or a webhook your business already depends on), that is the cheapest way in.

Scale is not for you just because it carries the “Most popular” badge, or because 75,000 contacts feels safer than 10,000. Moving up later is a plan change in your billing settings, so there is no prize for buying headroom early.

How much do Launch and Scale really cost in year one?

ClickFunnels lists the plans at $97 and $197 a month. What you pay in the first year depends on billing, and on whether you start Scale through the $99 offer. Plain pre-tax dollars, our maths from the official prices:

CostLaunchScale
Monthly price$97$197
Annual price$970$1,970
Annual saving$194$394
First 3 billed months, monthly$291$591
Year one, monthly billing$1,164$2,364
Year one, annual billing$970$1,970
Year one via the $99 offerNot offered$1,872 ($99 + 9 × $197)

The row that matters for an undecided buyer is the 3-month one. Three billed months of Launch cost $291. Three months of Scale through the offer cost $99. That is $192 less than Launch for the bigger plan, and $492 less than paying for Scale normally, or about $33 a month for the promo months.

Bar chart titled 'The $99 offer undercuts 3 months of Launch': first three months cost $591 for Scale billed monthly, $291 for Launch billed monthly, and $99 for Scale via the $99 offer, highlighted in blue.
Over the first three months, Scale costs $591 on monthly billing and Launch $291, while the $99 offer buys three months of Scale for $99 (new customers only, renewing at $197 a month).

The catch shows up over a full year, where the ClickFunnels Launch vs Scale gap is $1,000 on annual billing and $1,200 on monthly. Launch on annual billing, at $970, is still the cheapest year of ClickFunnels you can buy, and no promo beats it. Stay on Scale after the $99 months and year one costs $1,872. That is $98 less than Scale annual and $492 less than Scale monthly, but $902 more than Launch annual. So the $99 offer is worth taking only if you already need Scale.

Third-party pricing pages get a few of these numbers wrong. Against ClickFunnels’ own pricing page and help centre:

What some pages sayWhat ClickFunnels says

"Scale is $181/mo on annual billing"

Scale annual is $1,970 a year, about $164 a month. $181 appears on no official page.

"Annual costs $972 for Launch, $1,968 for Scale"

$970 and $1,970. Those totals come from rounding $81 and $164 and multiplying by 12.

"Budget $0.675 per 1,000 emails"

That is a legacy figure. Launch and Scale include 50,000 and 300,000 emails a month.

"Scale annual: varies"

It doesn't vary. $1,970 a year, saving $394 against monthly billing.

The $99 Scale offer: what are the terms before you pay?

The offer is 3 months of ClickFunnels Scale for $99, and it is live. Some pages say it ran in 2025 and has ended, and one Black Friday page labels it an estimated holiday price. Both are wrong: as of 14 October 2026 the offer page is still selling it to new customers. The terms, from that page:

TermWhat the offer page says

What the money looks like over time:

Day 1

No trial. You are on the full Scale plan from the first login.

Months 1-3

Scale, nothing more to pay

75,000 contacts, 5 seats, 5 workspaces, webhooks and API.

End of month 3

Decide

Stay on Scale, change plan or cancel. Set the reminder on day 1.

Month 4 on

$197/mo plus tax

Recurring until you cancel.

! Don't switch plans mid-promo expecting to keep the $99 price. The offer page doesn't say what happens to it if you change plan during the 3 months. Decide at the end of month 3, not halfway through.

Existing customers can’t use it, and nothing stacks on top: there’s no ClickFunnels coupon code, only the $99 deal. ClickFunnels hasn’t announced any Black Friday 2026 pricing either, so waiting for a better deal is a guess. Here is what to expect from ClickFunnels on Black Friday if you want to weigh it.

Still unsure? Three ways to decide without overpaying

You don’t have to guess. The pricing FAQ says you can change your plan “at anytime… both during or after your trial”, which gives you three low-risk routes depending on how sure you are.

1. Not sure at all: trial Scale itself, free for 14 days

The 14-day free trial works on every plan, Scale included. Start a ClickFunnels trial on Scale, try the things Launch doesn’t have (a webhook, a third login, a second workspace), and drop to Launch before day 14 if you never touched them. The 30-day money-back guarantee still applies after the first charge; here is how the 14-day trial and 44-day refund window work.

2. Sure you need Scale: take the $99

Pay $99, set a calendar reminder for the end of month 3, and decide then whether Scale is worth $197 a month to you. If it isn’t, moving to Launch for months 4 to 12 would make year one $972 ($99 + 9 × $97). That assumes the plan change goes through normally at the end of the promo, which the offer page doesn’t spell out, so check the billing screen before you count on it.

3. Sure you fit Launch: trial, then annual

Start the Launch trial, build, sell, and move to annual billing once the funnel earns. That is $970 for the year, the lowest figure on this page. If a bigger Russell Brunson bundle tempts you instead, it is another route to a year of Scale, though that is a different purchase decision.

How to change plan when you are ready

  1. Open Workspace Settings

From inside the workspace you want to change.

  2. Go to Billing

    It sits inside Workspace Settings.

  3. Open Subscriptions

    Find your active ClickFunnels subscription.

  4. Click Manage Subscription

Upgrade, downgrade or cancel from one screen.

Check the confirmation screen before you upgrade. The current help-centre article doesn’t say whether an upgrade is prorated. It also doesn’t document what happens if you downgrade to Launch while you are over its limits, say 12,000 contacts or 3 workspaces, so get under Launch’s caps first or ask support.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between ClickFunnels Launch and Scale?

Scale costs $100 more a month ($197 vs $97). For that it raises contacts from 10,000 to 75,000, emails from 50,000 to 300,000 a month, workspaces from 1 to 5, team members from 2 to 5, courses from 3 to 6 and custom domains from 5 to unlimited, and it adds webhooks, full API access and the custom code editor. The builder, unlimited funnels, pages and visitors are the same on both.

How much is the ClickFunnels Scale plan per month and per year?

$197 a month, or $1,970 a year on annual billing, which is about $164 a month and saves $394. The "$181 a month" figure on some sites isn't on any ClickFunnels page.

Is ClickFunnels Scale worth it for a beginner?

Usually not. A beginner with one brand, one helper, under 10,000 contacts and no webhooks fits Launch. Scale is worth it from day one only if you already need webhooks or the API, a third login, a second workspace or store, a 4th course, or you are importing more than 10,000 contacts.

Does ClickFunnels Launch include API access or webhooks?

No. Webhooks, full API access and the custom code editor start on Scale. If a funnel has to send data to another tool by webhook, you need Scale or higher, whatever your list size.

How many contacts and team members do you get on Launch vs Scale?

Launch gives you 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month and 2 team members. Scale gives you 75,000 contacts, 300,000 emails a month and 5 team members.

Can I start on Launch and upgrade to Scale later?

Yes. ClickFunnels says you can change plan at any time, during or after the trial. Go to Workspace Settings, then Billing, then Subscriptions, then Manage Subscription. Check the confirmation screen to see how the upgrade is billed.

Is the $99 for 3 months of Scale offer still available, and what happens after 3 months?

Yes. The $99 Scale offer was live when we checked on 14 October 2026. After the 3 months it renews at $197 a month plus applicable taxes until you cancel. No end date is given.

Can existing ClickFunnels customers get the $99 Scale deal?

No. The offer page says it is available for new customers only.

Does the $99 offer include a free trial or a refund?

No free trial: the $99 is charged immediately. The 30-day money-back guarantee does apply; the offer page says all plans include it.

Does Launch or Scale include the Affiliate Center?

Neither. ClickFunnels' help centre lists the Affiliate Center on Optimize and Dominate only.

The bottom line

For most readers, Launch wins. One brand, one helper, under 10,000 contacts and no webhooks fits on $97 a month. Start with the 14-day ClickFunnels trial on Launch, then move to annual billing at $970 once the funnel sells. That is the cheapest year you can buy.

Scale wins the ClickFunnels Launch vs Scale call, and earns its extra $100 a month, the moment one trigger fires: a list heading past 10,000, a webhook or API connection, a third login, a second brand, or a 4th course. When that happens, don’t pay $591 for your first three months. Pay $99, set a reminder for the end of month 3, and decide with real usage in front of you. The full pricing guide has everything above Scale.
