ClickFunnels vs Leadpages is a choice between a landing-page tool and a full funnel platform. On the vendors’ pricing pages, checked 20 October 2026, Leadpages runs from $29/mo (Pro) to $399/mo (Scale) with a 7-day trial and no built-in email marketing, and its own comparison page lists order bumps and upsells among the things it doesn’t do. ClickFunnels Launch is $97/mo and bundles pages, checkout, order bumps, one-click upsells and email, with a 14-day trial plus a 30-day money-back guarantee. Pick Leadpages if you only need lead-gen pages and already pay for an email tool, and pick ClickFunnels if you sell a product and want the whole funnel on one bill.

Quick verdict: Leadpages or ClickFunnels?
Go by what you sell rather than the entry price. Leadpages is cheaper for capturing emails. ClickFunnels is cheaper once you take money for a product and want follow-up emails and upsells attached to the sale.
| If you… | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Only collect emails and already pay for an email tool | Leadpages Pro | $29/mo for 25 pages, and your email tool does the follow-up |
| Sell one digital product with follow-up emails | ClickFunnels Launch | Pages, checkout and email for 10K contacts on one $97 bill |
| Run paid ads and want to test page variants | Leadpages Grow or Optimize | 2-way A/B tests from $99/mo; Smart Traffic and heatmaps on Optimize at $199/mo |
| Want order bumps and one-click upsells | ClickFunnels Launch | Leadpages' own comparison page lists them as missing |
| Want to sell a course | ClickFunnels Launch | 3 courses on Launch; Leadpages lists no courses or memberships |
Leadpages is not for you if you have nothing to plug it into. With no email tool, no checkout and no course host, you would be buying three products to do what one ClickFunnels plan does.
ClickFunnels is not for you if all you need is a lead-magnet page or a webinar sign-up page and your email platform is already paid for. Then most of the $97 buys features you won’t touch.
What changed at Leadpages in 2026?
Leadpages rebuilt its product this year, and almost every Leadpages vs ClickFunnels comparison that ranks today still describes the old version. Several quote retired ClickFunnels plans as well.
Leadpages’ pricing FAQ puts it plainly: “We rebuilt the product from the ground up. Same team, same 13-year track record. New technology.” The homepage says you can “Choose an old or new experience any time”, so the Classic builder is still reachable. Leadpages is part of the Redbrick family of brands.
The plans are now split into two groups:
- Publishing: Pro at $29/mo and Business at $49/mo.
- Testing & optimization: Grow at $99/mo, Optimize at $199/mo, and Scale at $399/mo as the top tier. Enterprise is custom.
Leadpages describes the second group as “the superset: everything in Publishing plus A/B testing, heatmaps, lead enrichment, and AI-powered personalization.” Its homepage now calls the product “The AI landing page builder CRO platform”. That tells you where Leadpages is putting its effort, and it’s conversion testing rather than checkout.
"Leadpages Standard $37, Pro $74"
Retired. The plans are Pro $29, Business $49, Grow $99, Optimize $199 and Scale $399.
"Leadpages has a 14-day free trial"
7 days. A card is collected at checkout and charged on day 7.
"Leadpages has a free plan"
No free plan. Every paid plan includes the 7-day trial.
"ClickFunnels starts at $147" or "Startup $97, Pro $297"
Launch is $97/mo. The old Startup, Basic and Pro plans are gone.
Even Leadpages’ own comparison page skips its cheapest plan. It sets Grow ($99) against ClickFunnels Launch ($97) and never mentions the $29 Pro plan, which is the one most lead-gen users actually need.
What is the real difference between ClickFunnels and Leadpages?
Leadpages builds pages and tests them, while ClickFunnels builds the whole path from first visit to purchase.
With Leadpages, you get pages, forms and, on the higher plans, testing. Email, upsells and courses live in other tools. Leadpages says so itself. Its comparison page lists email as “No (use your ESP)” and says: “If multi-step checkout is core to your business, ClickFunnels or Shopify is a better fit.” Its blog is blunter: “we are not a checkout funnel platform”.
With ClickFunnels, one account holds the opt-in page, the sales page, the checkout with an order bump, the one-click upsell page and the email sequence that follows the sale. You pay for all of it whether you use it or not, which is the trade-off.
The rest of Leadpages Pro is 1 site, 1 blog, 5 GB of storage, 12K AI credits a month, 5 active integrations and 90 days of analytics. Traffic is unlimited on every plan, with “No traffic overage fees”. ClickFunnels Launch adds 1 store, 1M AI words and unlimited visitors. Funnels are unlimited too, though the pricing page marks that as “Limited Time” without saying more.
The gap that matters most for one product is email. On Leadpages Pro, the page captures the lead and hands it to another tool. On ClickFunnels, the page, the checkout and the email list are the same system.

ClickFunnels vs Leadpages pricing: what does a year really cost?
The sticker prices are $29 for Leadpages and $97 for ClickFunnels. Neither is what one product costs you once email is added, which is the part most Leadpages vs ClickFunnels pricing pages skip. The plan list comes first, then the full stack.
Current plans (checked 20 October 2026)
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | What matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leadpages Pro | $29 | $276/yr | 25 pages · 1 domain · 1 seat · no A/B testing |
| Leadpages Business | $49 | $468/yr | 50 pages · 2 domains · lead CSV export · no A/B testing |
| Leadpages Grow | $99 | $948/yr | Unlimited pages listed in the plan table · 4 domains · 2-way A/B tests |
| Leadpages Optimize | $199 | $1,908/yr | 6 domains · 3 seats · up to 4 variants · Smart Traffic · heatmaps |
| Leadpages Scale | $399 | $3,828/yr | 10 domains · 10 seats · 160K AI credits |
| ClickFunnels Launch | $97 | $970/yr | 10K contacts · 50K emails/mo · 3 courses · 5 domains · 2 seats |
| ClickFunnels Scale | $197 | $1,970/yr | 75K contacts · 300K emails/mo · 6 courses · unlimited domains · 5 seats |
Leadpages’ annual billing takes 20% off, so Pro works out to $23/mo. Extra seats and extra custom domains are $20/mo each, which matters on Pro, where you get one of each. You can upgrade or downgrade from your billing settings at any time.
ClickFunnels Launch billed yearly is $970, about $81/mo, which the pricing page says saves $194. Above Scale sit Optimize at $297/mo ($2,970/yr) and Dominate at $5,997/yr, annual only. A one-product seller rarely needs either. If you’re unsure between the first two tiers, our Launch vs Scale, plan by plan guide settles it, and every ClickFunnels plan and price covers the rest.
Year one for one product
None of the pages ranking for this comparison adds an email tool to Leadpages’ price using current figures, so we did the math. The assumptions: one product, fewer than 1,000 email subscribers, annual billing, and Kit as the email tool. Kit’s free plan covers up to 10,000 subscribers with unlimited broadcasts but no sequences or automations. Kit Creator adds sequences for $390/yr at 1,000 subscribers.
Card processing is left out. Stripe’s standard fee applies on both sides for one-off sales, so it cancels.
| Stack | Year one (annual) | Monthly billing ×12 | Email sequences | Bumps + 1-click upsells | A/B testing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Leadpages Pro + Kit free | $276 | $348 | No, broadcasts only | No | No |
| Leadpages Pro + Kit Creator | $666 | ≈ $816 | Yes | No | No |
| ClickFunnels Launch | $970 | $1,164 | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Leadpages Grow + Kit Creator | $1,338 | ≈ $1,656 | Yes | No | Yes, 2-way |
| Leadpages Pro + Kit Creator + SamCart Pro | $2,456 | n/a | Yes | Yes, via SamCart | Not on Leadpages Pro |
The “No” in the bumps column for Leadpages comes from Leadpages’ own comparison page, which lists order bumps and upsells among the features it lacks. The SamCart figure is SamCart Pro at $1,790/yr, its cheapest plan with bumps and one-click upsells, checked on 14 October 2026. Kit’s monthly figure is about $39/mo, since its pricing page shows only the yearly price.
Read the table in three steps. For pure lead generation, Leadpages wins: $276 to $666 a year against $970. Once you want A/B testing and email sequences together, Leadpages Grow plus Kit costs $1,338, which is $368 more than ClickFunnels Launch. Once you want order bumps and one-click upsells, the Leadpages stack needs a third tool and costs more than twice the ClickFunnels figure.
It’s the same pattern as the stack-cost math for SamCart: the cheaper tool stays cheaper only while you don’t need what it leaves out.

Which is better for A/B testing, checkout and email?
Each tool wins half of this. Leadpages is better at testing pages, and ClickFunnels is better at selling from them.
A/B testing and AI pages: Leadpages is stronger
Testing is where Leadpages has put its rebuild. A/B testing starts on Grow ($99/mo) with 2-way, manual tests and dynamic text replacement. Optimize ($199/mo) raises that to 4 variants and adds Smart Traffic, Leadpages’ AI routing, plus auto-personalization and heatmaps. Those three are on Optimize only.
ClickFunnels includes split testing on funnel steps. By ClickFunnels’ own description, you get one variant per step, a slider to set the traffic split, and metrics such as opt-ins and orders. It doesn’t describe any AI routing like Smart Traffic.
You will find conversion-lift percentages for these features around the web. We leave them out, because none comes with a method. If you run paid ads and testing is your daily job, Optimize is the better tool for that one job.
Both tools now write pages with AI. Leadpages includes AI page creation, URL imports and AI chat on every plan, paid for with monthly credits: 12K on Pro, 40K on Grow, 80K on Optimize. ClickFunnels’ Build with AI is on every plan and came out of beta on 18 September 2026. Here is how ClickFunnels’ Build with AI drafts a funnel from a description of your business.
Checkout, upsells and email: ClickFunnels is stronger
Leadpages lets you take Stripe payments on a page, for one-time payments and recurring subscriptions. It charges nothing on top of Stripe processing: “No Leadpages transaction fees, ever.” Leadpages doesn’t say which plans include the payment element, so confirm it on your plan inside the 7-day trial.
Beyond that, Leadpages’ own comparison page lists these as things it doesn’t do:
Email has to come from somewhere else. Leadpages’ FAQ says form submissions “can be sent to your email marketing tool, CRM, or webhook in real time”. Its integrations page names Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign and Zapier, and a separate Kit integration can tag leads and add them to sequences. Pro, Business and Grow allow 5 active integrations.
ClickFunnels keeps the sale in one place. The order bump is a component of the Smart Checkout element, with no plan restriction listed. One-click upsell and downsell pages are supported, with one requirement: a Payments AI-configured account. Email marketing is built in, with 50K emails a month to 10K contacts on Launch.
On fees, ClickFunnels’ pricing FAQ says it takes no percentage of your sales: “You’ll keep every penny you make.” Payments AI adds 0.5% on recurring payments, and 1% when Stripe or PayPal is routed through Payments AI, plus that gateway’s fees. You can also connect Stripe directly without Payments AI, though one-click upsells need Payments AI configured. If you sell a subscription through Payments AI, Leadpages’ “nothing on top of Stripe” is the cheaper fee line.

Should you pick Leadpages or ClickFunnels?
The answer follows what you sell. Each list below ends with the reader that tool is wrong for.
Pick Leadpages if:
- You need lead-magnet pages, webinar sign-ups or local-service quote pages, and nothing else.
- You already pay for an email tool and like it. Leadpages hands it the leads.
- You run paid traffic and want automated testing. Optimize at $199/mo has Smart Traffic, heatmaps and 4-variant tests.
- You want the lowest entry price. Pro is $29/mo, or $23/mo billed yearly.
Leadpages is the wrong pick if you plan to sell a product with upsells. Its own comparison page says ClickFunnels or Shopify is a better fit if multi-step checkout is core to your business.
Pick ClickFunnels if:
- You sell one product and want pages, checkout, order bumps, one-click upsells and email on one $97 bill.
- You want to sell a course. Launch includes 3.
- You have no email tool yet. Launch covers 10K contacts and 50K emails a month.
- You want time to test. You get 44 days, against 7.
ClickFunnels is the wrong pick if you only need a sign-up page and an email tool is already paid for. You would spend $97/mo to duplicate what you have.

Free trials and refunds: how long can you test each one?
This is the biggest gap between the two, and none of the ranking comparisons covers it. Leadpages gives you 7 days. ClickFunnels gives you 14 days, then a 30-day money-back guarantee, which makes 44 days.
Leadpages’ trial needs a card: “We collect a card at checkout to start your 7-day trial, but you won’t be charged until day 7.” Billing starts when the trial ends unless you cancel, and there is no free plan to fall back on. Leadpages says there are no cancellation fees.
On refunds, Leadpages’ FAQ says it doesn’t refund subscription payments after the 7-day trial, although its terms, last updated 2 April 2026, still mention a 7-day money-back guarantee for new accounts. Treat the trial as your safety net.
ClickFunnels’ pricing page says “start your 14-day trial today!” and “Yes, we have a 30-day money back guarantee.” A card is required at signup and charged when the trial ends. We cover how the 14-day trial and refund window work step by step, and what the ClickFunnels refund policy covers once you’ve paid.
Seven days is enough to build a page and connect a form. It is rarely enough to send traffic and see whether a product sells. If you’re testing an offer rather than a page, the longer window counts for more than the price gap.
A practical warning before you start: our link opens ClickFunnels’ signup flow, and when we checked on 14 October its checkout defaulted to Scale Monthly, which is $197/mo after the trial, with Launch at $97/mo on the same page. Here’s how to avoid paying for the bigger plan by accident:
-
Open the signup flow
Look for the plan picker before you fill anything in.
-
Switch to Launch
If you sell one product, $97/mo is enough. Scale is $197/mo.
-
Check it says 14 days
The checkout headline should read "Start Your 14-Day Free Trial Now!" before you enter a card.
-
Set a reminder for day 12
The card is charged when the trial ends. Decide before then.

For landing pages and conversion testing, yes. Plans start at $29/mo, and Optimize adds Smart Traffic, heatmaps and 4-variant tests. For selling a product with order bumps, upsells and email follow-up, no. Can you build a sales funnel with Leadpages?
You can build multi-page sites and take Stripe payments on a page. But Leadpages' comparison page lists order bumps, upsells, subscription management and email marketing among the things it doesn't do, and its blog says "we are not a checkout funnel platform".
Does Leadpages have email marketing?
No. Its comparison page says "use your ESP". Form submissions go to your email tool, CRM or a webhook in real time, with integrations for Kit, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo and Zapier.
Does Leadpages still have a free trial or a free plan?
Every paid plan has a 7-day free trial. Leadpages collects a card at checkout and charges it on day 7 unless you cancel. There is no free plan.
What changed in Leadpages in 2026?
Leadpages rebuilt the product "from the ground up" and regrouped its plans into Publishing (Pro $29, Business $49) and Testing & optimization (Grow $99, Optimize $199, Scale $399). The Classic experience is still available.
Does ClickFunnels have A/B testing like Leadpages?
ClickFunnels has split tests on funnel steps: one variant per step, a slider to set the split, and metrics such as opt-ins and orders. ClickFunnels doesn't describe any AI traffic routing like Leadpages' Smart Traffic.
Does ClickFunnels or Leadpages take a cut of sales?

Can I get a refund from Leadpages or ClickFunnels?
ClickFunnels has a 30-day money-back guarantee that starts after the 14-day trial. Leadpages' FAQ says it doesn't refund subscription payments after the 7-day trial, although its terms, last updated 2 April 2026, still mention a 7-day money-back guarantee for new accounts. Treat the Leadpages trial as your safety net.
Can I use Leadpages and ClickFunnels together?
You can point a button on a Leadpages page at a ClickFunnels checkout, but you would pay at least $126/mo for two page builders that overlap. It's only worth it while you move from one to the other.
The bottom line
The choice comes down to whether you sell something. For lead-gen pages with an email tool you already pay for, Leadpages wins: Pro plus Kit costs $276 to $666 a year against $970 for ClickFunnels Launch, and Optimize is the better tool if conversion testing is your job. Once you sell a product and want email sequences, order bumps and one-click upsells, Launch is the cheaper option. The closest Leadpages stacks cost $1,338 a year (Grow plus Kit, for testing and sequences) or $2,456 (Pro plus Kit and SamCart, for upsells). Launch also gives you 44 days to test instead of 7.
Pick Launch at checkout, confirm it says 14 days, and run one real sale before day 12.
